To favour a broad and easy access to all published scientific information, Agronomy for Sustainable Development uses a service called Open Access Option (OAO). It offers the possibility for authors to make their papers freely available to all interested readers (subscribers or non subscribers) as soon as the articles are published online, in exchange for payment of a basic fee. OAO is available at a discount fee of 550 € per article in 2008. To choose OAO, authors who are interested should fill out the form that is sent with the proofs and return it with the corrected proofs. Many authors have already taken advantage of this opportunity.
